Contract Fundraising Coordinator - Fort Worth, TX

Cenikor is a non-profit organization and one of the largest substance abuse treatment centers in the nation. We are currently looking for a Contract  Fundraising Coordinator at our Fort Worth long-term inpatient facility.

This is a contract position consisting of 2 events per year. Great opportunity for a highly motivated  Contract Fundraising Coordinator with a proven record of successful fundraising events needed to lead the funding raising efforts at our Fort Worth facility.  The ideal Contractor will be responsible for raising a minimum of $20,000, planning, organizing and implementing fundraising efforts to meet the facility’s revenue goal for this special  Recovery Luncheon on September 29th 2017.  

Contractor Expectations

  1. Raise $20,000 through new corporate sponsors, donors, ticket sales and silent auction for the event.
  2. Coordinate identification and relationship building with key donors and groups.
  3. Recruit and secure new committee members, chairs, and volunteers on behalf of Fort Worth’s management team.
  4. Provide leadership and support to the newly founded volunteer fundraising committees
  5. Accurately maintain the Community Resources database and donor history files (electronic and standard) per schedule.
  6. Schedule, plan and participate in facility tours, public speaking engagements, special events, donor prospect cultivation, solicitations and donor recognition opportunities.
  7. Follow Cenikor cash handling policies.
  8. Maintain strict confidentiality on all client and foundation matters and refer questionable issues to Director of Development/FD.

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Proven ability to secure a minimum of $20,000 in revenue through sponsorships, ticket sales, and silent auction and fund a mission moment.
  • Ability to cold call and also make in-person visits to “sell” Cenikor’s luncheon and mission.
  • Ability to present themselves professionally.
  • Ability to pay attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage tasks, self, and others.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Knowledgeable of methods of fundraising
  • Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, excel and database applications.


  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience fundraising with non-profit organizations preferred
  • Experience in fund-raising, special event planning and volunteer requirement required
